Dear Readers: I was reading Kbanaian’s excellent post at Hot Air Today, which described how citizen action group members (such as yours truly) were now versed on the Saul Alinksy Rules for Radicals. Rosita the Prole, another citizen activist, did a wonderful synopsis on Alinsky’s meme, RULES FOR TEA PARTIERS (with thanks to Mr. Saul Alinsky). I was, at one point, going to do a post that these rules don’t work when the opposition knows they are mere tactics, not genuine sentiment.
As I am featuring “Patton” as my iconic American movie of this week, I had to stop and give a big hat-tip to Kbanaian for a great piece and an awesome reference. The quote is the most apt summation of the citizen’s views on Alinksy’s works, consistent with the mocking and derision my fellow Southern California Tax Revolt Coalition members have laid onto Alinsky’s rules since our first protests in February. We delight in mocking the mockers, and they have no power over us any longer.
It seems that the “teeny, tiny minority of fringe extremists” have increased in numbers over the past month especially. So much for personalizing your target and demonizing it! Beating citizens, stomping on the feet of handicapped protesters, and sticking middle fingers up at grandmothers who survived the Great Depression and WWII (this happened at the Susan Davis Townhall locally) does not tend to inspire Americans to support gross distortions of our blessed U.S. Constitution.
MUT Prophesy: I imagine that number of citizens at the March on Washington DC this Sept. 12 will continue to swell! So let it be written, so let it be done.

[…] It is interesting that the socialist Saul Alinksy’s book, “Rules for Radicals”, has seen a resurgence since Obama’s election. I sense that the tome has been read, however, by far more conservatives than leftist organizers at this point. While Team Obama can call us “tea-baggers” and bigots in their efforts to demean us into disappearance, they are discovering Alinksy’s guide is no longer useful. As General Patton said as he stepped onto a North African battle-field: “Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I read your book!”. […]
