Dear Readers: I am sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings. It seems that Sarah Palin endorses Carly Fiorina for CA Senate.
My readers now there are two men running in the primary I support: Mickey Kaus and Chuck Devore for Republicans.I know most of my Tea Party compatriots, and grassroots citizen activists, are backing Devore. In fact, one of Devore’s biggest group of cheerleaders are also big Palin fans — so I sense they will also be unhappy.
I know Fiorina was in charge of McCain’s campaign — but I should think the ham-handed handling of 2008’s GOP VP candidate would dissuade Palin for supporting McCain-in-a-bra. I wonder if it is because Palin is afraid of Demon Sheep?
EIK!
Regrettably, Sarah is losing her savor. She will either learn to stand by principle or associations.
Y’all go to work on Nashville. Us locals can handle the oil in the Gulf!
I am very disappointed in Sarah. But I am still voting for Chuck.
There was NO reason for her support of Carly. Most recent Rasmussen poll:
* Fiorina 38% – Boxer 42%
* DeVore 39% – Boxer 42%
* Campbell 41% – Boxer 43%
Just makes me send more money to DeVore.
Gov. Palin has, like FDR, a great political personality, but only an average intellect, and no firm philosophy. Her charm lies in her ‘average Joe (or Jane)’ commonsense. She is susceptible to being swayed by her advisors, and many of them are doubtless typical, Establishment Republican neocons. It’s too bad, but predictable perhaps, that they would subtly co-opt her for their purposes. (Her endorsement of Rand Paul for SEN-KY, when Gulianni, Cheney, et al back Trey Grayson supports my contention that her instincts are good, when her advisors let Sarah be Sarah.)
