Dear Readers: I have had a ton of profit-center work, so I couldn’t post about the Wisconsin Supreme Court Election that has been a proxy for the struggle between average taxpayers (Prosser) and politically connected union elites (Kloppenburg). Ever since election night, I have been on a roller coaster of emotions — but mainly dwelling in the melted-chocolate-bunny aisles of despair. It looked like union-beloved Kloppenburg had won.
Then, a miracle worthy of St. Anthony of Padua occurred — 14,000 lost votes were located. Prosser seems to have prevailed by a safe, and note-worthy 7000 plus votes. The Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus must of drawn the short straw — she was the one to bring the news during the GREATEST PRESS CONFERENCE OF ALL TIME.
She is a shining example of grace under pressure. Her reward for acting with honor, in accordance with her public responsibility? Being the fresh target of vile insults, threats, false accusations and calumny. Check what a Google search reveals:
The anger and hatred directed at Nickolaus is palpable. You can feel it surge from the screen.
How would you like to be facing this….alone?
Therefore, I am asking my fellow citizen activists to send some support and encouragement to Nickolaus today. It seems our opposition is Google-searching the white pages, and other sources, for personal contact information for this clerk. If we have learned anything in two years, Tea Party types have learned to get active and involved. So, here is the contact information I have located so far:

Hot Air commenter slickwillie2001 took my idea one step further, and it is a winner: SEND HER SOME FLOWERS!
Could you imagine the statement, and the news story, if her office was swamped with flowers from Americans across the country. You can even use the flower services recommended by Sean Hannity if you want to add that extra, special tweak: PROFLOWERS.COM
I might recommend a patriot flower bouquet:
UPDATE: Hot Air commentor csdeven would like to show Nickolaus support by ordering something from her bait shop, too. So, here is this week’s Goddess of Flaming Capitalism promotion: MUSKY MIKE’S BAIT SHOP!
Why does this election matter so much to Californians? Because the public employee unions in California have politically-connected leadership that has helped to drain our state of its wealth — and now Governor Brown has gone on a tour to encourage us to agree to even more taxes. Good luck with that!
Wisconsin’s problems are ours, too. Wisconsin is showing the way to successfully address these matters — as well as demonstrating the toxic, nasty, aggressive, trollish response we will see from organized union types.
As a reminder: On Tuesday, election night, both Hot Air and Ann Althouse were expecting numbers different than the initial reports — part of the reason many of us rooting for Prosser were so upset. The revised numbers make entirely more sense, based on what is known about Wisconsin voting patterns.
UPDATE ON ANOTHER AMERICAN HERO: We have been following the UCLA hearing for Dr. James Enstrom, who has had is position with the university rescinded because of his stance against false data presented by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) that promote their regulatory tactics. The California Dump Truck Owners Association has an update:
An administrative hearing to review the UCLA plan to terminate the employment if Dr. James Enstrom from its Environmental Health Sciences department, began yesterday at the Faculty Center, a private club for university professors on the campus.
Dr. Enstrom is the whistleblower who exposed the Hein Tran credentials fraud, which led CARB to abandon its health effects report and led to the removal of diesel particulate filter requirements in the off-road regulation. Mary Nichols, chair of the Air Board, is a UCLA law school professor.
Other testimony will be held Wednesday, where a panel of scientists will support Enstrom’s scientific work. A final decision on the termination of his employment contract is expected in 30 days.

WC Varones has a great take on the other big news of the day — the Kabuki Theater of Budget Delays and Gov’t Shutdowns: Shutdown farce remains talk of the townB-Daddy of The Liberator Today has some related thoughts on House Speaker John Boehner with which I agree. Frankly, I am really coming to admire Boehner’s savvy handing of the budget crisis (NOT the media-driven gov’t shutdown).
Shane Atwell has an update on the AMERICAN WITH DISABILITIES ACT. These changes will make it harder for employers to actually want to hire — and this can’t be good for our economic recovery.
Beers with Demo has another piece in his outstanding “Sarah Sez” series. It is related to the press conference in which President Obama told a man who couldn’t afford high gas prices to — get a new car!!!!
THE ELITE PRESS IS QUICKLY DELETING EVIDENCE OF THIS LOUIS XVI MOMENT!
