Dear Readers: Continuing on with the Star Trek theme of today, I turn to another original series gem, “Patterns of Force“. This is the episode in which the Star Trek crew experiences an other-world version of Nazi Germany — created by a man who think he could do fascism the “right way”. Turns out to be an epic fail. The title of the post is a line that Capt. Kirk utters to Spock, when they reconnect to take-down the planet’s regime.
Apparently, the SEIU has funded minion groups to carry out their thuggery for them. Gateway Pundit, who detailed the abuse of Tea Party patriot Kenneth Gladney during the August townhalls, as more information on the union-funded website: Confirmed: “Tea Party Is Over” Website Is Funded By SEIU. The following graphic is courtesy of Gateway Pundit:
As one of the Southern California Tax Revolt Coalition, I have to say that the Tea Parties seem pretty much “ON” to me — as we are planning a large First Anniversary Tea Party, in which the keynote speaker is a national talk show host. We are thrilled to be working with many other citizen action organizations throughout the region, too. The Tea Party Movement looks quite well for one that has been “utterly destroyed”.
The specific details of this event are:
San Diego Tea Party – 2010 Roger Hedgecock will be the keynote speaker.
—— Date: Saturday, Feb. 27th.
——Time: 11 am to 1 pm.
—— Place: Just NORTH of the Star of India along the beautiful Harbor Drive.
I would also like to ask fellow Americans to help us Californians fight the SEIU leadership and other power-mongering union-based elites by participating in the CITIZEN POWER CAMPAIGN. Through a petition drive, we are hoping to gather enough signatures in this state to place the first Tea Party proposition on the ballot.
In a nutshell, approval of this proposition means that union leaders can use the monies deducted automatically from state employee paychecks to use for political purposes. The unions would have to earn money for use in pushing political purposes the old fashioned way – by FUND-RAISING! For more information, please check out these links:
I can really see why that want the Tea Party to be over — this being their tag line:
PURPOSE: To prevent the Tea Party’s dangerous ideas from gaining legislative traction.
The initiative is one of those “dangerous ideas”.
Another line from that episode is truly apt. In the end, after Capt. Kirk saves-the-day, the historian/Fuhrer figure grudgingly admits:
Which reminds me, wasn’t the GOP one of those movements that was “over” November 2008? I am sure the Independents and Libertarians will also be quite “on”, too. And, a few feisty Democrats as well!
