UPDATE: California’s Boxer is on the mind today for Hot Air’s Allahpundit, too! He reports: Rasmussen: Three different Republicans within six points of Boxer in California. While it is good news, indeed, it still would be awesomely awesome to rid ourselves of her for sure in the June primary. The Money quote:
Taking her down would be as sweet as taking down Reid, frankly: She’s further left than he is, just as personally nasty, and would be as glorious a trophy coming from big blue as Dingy is as majority leader. It’ll be much harder to beat her, sure, but given the fine job Democrats have done with California’s economy, voters there should be even more primed than Massachusetts for a Senate shocker.
Dear Readers: This is an open letter to my Democratic friends associated with the Tea Party movement in California.
Can we chat, one Democrat to another?
Much media and excitement has been given to the Senatorial Race in Massachusetts, slated for next Tuesday. So, I was thinking today, why not channel some enthusiasm for our own Senatorial race? Better yet, why not see if we could get the Tea Parties to support the primary opponent to Babs “Don’t Call Me Ma’am” Boxer. How awesomely awesome would it be to defeat her at the primary level with another Democrat, perhaps one that will not deem people exercising their first amendment rights as Republican plants. One, perhaps, who will visit the local offices on a more regular basis, instead of paling around with the DC and elite Union Leadership set?
Sadly, a check indicates such an opponent does not exist! Maybe some brave Democrat could mount a campaign. I would be glad to do so, but I would get too Darth Vaderish to be successful in any political endeavor:
Just imagine me during an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Mad-cow!
But I would be happy to promote such a campaign to the best of my abilities. Please let me know if there are any takers!
My Democratic friends, we have to do a much better job vetting candidates who are not beholden to elite Union leadership or big government political interests, but who have the genuine interest of working Californians at heart. For example, as outlined and detailed at this site, the California version of Cap and Trade (AB 32) is killing our state economically. Yet, despite an email campaign and contact effort from California citizens, the Democratic Assembly members of the Natural Resources Committee Assembly voted down AB 118 — the bill that would have repealed the toxic requirements within AB32.
Here are the elites who condemned their fellow citizens to economic hardship with their vote of “NO” to pass the AB 118.
Nancy Skinner – Chair Dem-14
Kevin de Leon Dem-45
Jerry Hill Dem-19
Julia Brownley Dem-41
Jared Huffman Dem-6
Wesley Chesbro Dem-1
Here are the economically savvy patriots who voted to support AB118:
Danny D. Gilmore – Vice Chair Rep-30
Steve Knight Rep-36
You can find the details of the vote, as well as the politicians who have a canned, automated response to the genuine pleas and concerns of their citizens, by checking killcarb.org: Assembly Democrats Use Automated Form Reply to Blow-off Constituents.
Keep in mind, Global Warming science has been essentially shown to be a utter and complete hoax. That California’s political elites have continued to keep California citizen chains to the slavery of unneeded environmental regulations and indentured to the proponents of eco-tryanny is disgusting. My Democratic friends, please help by getting informed, keeping involved, and identifying quality public servants.
