SOTU: Five Pillars of Winning the Future.
The State of the Union address is expected to lay out five ‘pillars’ for ‘winning the future’ – education, infrastructure, innovation, deficit reduction, and reform of government.
* Faith or belief in the Oneness of God and the finality of the prophethood of Muhammad;
* Establishment of the daily prayers;
* Concern for and almsgiving to the needy;
* Self-purification through fasting; and
* The pilgrimage to Makkah for those who are able.
Finally, I wonder if Paul Ryan is going to get the new civility treatment from leftist pundits tonight, when they discuss his speech. Stay tuned!

My favorite part of the night (other than Boehner looking so bored he was about to slide under the desk in his pink tie), was Congress confused as HELL about when to clap…thanks to the stroke of genius of sitting together, not by party (uh, was I supposed to stand for that?).
Yes: Boehner going Don Draper was very sweet. And the fact that the prom-style seating arrangement didn’t work out as Team Obama hoped was a delicious bonus. Finally, Ryan’s speech was a savory palate-cleanser.
I found the contridiction in the SOTU to be delicious. POTUS wants to help farmers in Brazil and Chili but let’s our own fields in the Central Valley fallow.
So enlightening to give us the heads up that nothing has changed in their agenda so while we watch the right hand the left will be confiscating more rights from the People.
