Dear Readers: The Young Prince is off from school this week, so my opining-time will be severely limited. The good news is that I get to enjoy movies (How to Train Your Dragon was excellent), the desert, and Lego-land. The bad news is that I don’t have the chance to chime in as often as I would like on the current events of the day.

What if the state didn’t paid the pensions? They will not be able too, if bankrupt. Look, I have nothing against teachers, but come on, their pensions and health care benefits are robbing YOUR children and mind of a good education. And it isn’t only the teachers, our state employees and the unions are robbing us ALL from our own retirements, we have to work longer to pay them. Come on vote the ALL out and get rid of the public school system. Healthy competition keeps costs low. Maybe private police forces and fireman, anything is better than what we have now.
