Dear Readers: Today’s title comes from a quote by political humorist Will Rogers. I do believe that day is coming, and I am thrilled to see that senator-elect Brown’s victory in Massachusetts has brought the upcoming California senatorial race in focus. There will be an open season on senators this Nov. 2!
In fact, Babs Boxer now states specifically: “Every state is now in play.”
It seems that Californians have grown tired of her military-insulting, cap&trade-promoting, townhall-ignoring attitude. For example, nearly one year after Boxer claimed the stimulus would put “Californians to work now,” San Diego only has one job to show for it.
As a reminder of her heady combination of unbridled arrogance and elitist attitude, let’s review this small clip:
I am delighted to report that the HillBuzz Team has our senatorial race in their sites. Many Americans were apprised of and kept updated on the Brown campaign during the Massachusetts special election cycle through the Hillbuzz website, so I was thrilled that they are paying attention all the way from Chicago — showing us more love that our current Senator. Here is a note from HillBuzz:
We have only so much time in a day, and tend to go where our hearts and passion lead us. We’d actually rather spend our time working to defeat Barbara Boxer in California, for a host of reasons, but also because it still gnaws at us how poorly she treated a General testifying for her in a Senate hearing. She looked down from her dais, glaring, and scolded a man in uniform for respectfully calling her Ma’am, as military men are wont to do. “Call me Senator. I worked hard for that title,” she menaced, lowering her glasses, so full of herself. That’s something a Kennedy would do. It’s what happens when Democrats spend too much time in a seat and think it’s their royal right to hold that. Boxer makes our blood boil. That California Senate seat needs to be returned to the people. So, you can tell in one paragraph we have more passion for that race than we do for what’s going on in Illinois. Also, Boxer irked us in 2008 when she went back on her promise to support whomever won California’s primary on Super Tuesday in the nomination contest between Hillary Clinton and Dr. Utopia. She went back on that promise, and did nothing to help Clinton through the rest of the primaries. We haven’t forgotten that. Payback should be a bitch for her. She, and pompous asses like her, should be taught a lesson at the ballot box.
PLEASE DONATE TO HILLBUZZ, AND SEND THEM A NOTE AT HillBuzz@gmail.com TO ENCOURAGE THEIR SUPPORT IN THIS MATTER! You don’t have to agree with them 100%, but they are true allies, indeed.
There are three important steps to take so that we may all send Babs Boxer a message. The first “step” can occur in June, if we Democrats just don’t blindly vote during the primary. As a Democrat, I will be encouraging my fellow Democrats NOT check the box for Babs on the primary ballot this June. Imagine the reaction if 1 million California Democrats vote, yet a significant number of them skip over her name on the ballot and vote on other issues. Consider this a NO CONFIDENCE VOTE!
The second step is for all of us to become acquainted with the alternatives NOW. Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey reports that the new GOP candidate, Tom Campbell, has a lead in the GOP primary race. Frankly, I am a fan of Chuck Devore — who is much like Scott Brown in age, energy, savvy, and genuineness. For example, he took much time talking with me — a DEMOCRAT — during a meeting to review state-specific issues that were being addressed in Tea Party rallies. In fact, Devore has been regularly meeting with Californians during such citizen activism events since their inception last February. I think he can readily earn the votes of many other Democrats in this turbulent, economic time. That being said, I will simply direct my readers to check out each candidate and come to their own conclusions:
The third, and final step, is TO VOTE BOXER OUT ON NOV. 2ND! It is open season on her seat, at least. And perhaps others, too! I am really hoping Obama plans to assist the Democratic incumbents during their campaigns, as this is one aspect of his performance as president that has been…NOT UNEXPECTED!! Here is an update on an already ex-Senator. Finally,FEEL THE POWER OF MY FULLY OPERATIONAL TEA PARTY MOVEMENT!
