Dear Readers: I wanted to share some citizen activism news with everyone, including a mention that over 4,000 patriots went to Fort Bragg for Sarah Palin’s book signing. Despite the fact that she could not speak, nor personalize books, thousands still came to see her. This reminded me of a passage in Shakespeare’s Henry V, where King Henry stealthily mingles with his troops, getting a sense of their loyalty and dedication because the king is a man-among-them. The next day, King Henry gives his famous “St. Crispin’s Day Speech” and trounces the French at the historic battle of Agincourt.
Sarah Palin also inspires us to battle against the current administration’s big government money/power grabs! As a humorous palate cleanser, please watch the video of pseudo-reporter Andrea Mitchell attempting to hijack an interview with Palin and being escorted away (thank you Hot Air)!
About rallying the troops to battle big government forces… California’s citizens are organizing to push-back on union domination of state resources. Even if you are not in California, please join us at Unplug the Political Machine/Citizen Power Campaign. We are organizing a petition drive to get the first Tea Party proposition on the ballot. The measure would ensure that money would not be taken from state employee paychecks to be used by union elites to finance political campaigns that enhance only the interests of union leadership. We could really use much help from fellow Americans.
About unions….here is a story one of our “favorites”, SEIU, that features..er, um….their version of support for fellow Americans:
From Michelle Malkin — SEIU tantrums in San Francisco; Update: Public-sector protectionism rejected in NJ:
Police arrested 18 SEIU Purple Shirts yesterday in San Francisco after their protest of city layoffs and budget cuts caused a traffic jam and massive headaches for other residents trying to commute to and from, you know, work..
Finally, to demonstrate how citizens are battling back on the forces of bureaucrats, here is a link to some testimony focusing on California Air Resources Board member, Hein Tran, who received his bogus PhD degree from Thornhill University (a fake site with an address of a UPS Office).
