A great video of the Midway Post office Tea Party is HERE! Check back over the next several days, as I will be providing updates and new links related to these events.

Dear Readers: I will be supporting the Tea Party efforts by talking during KCBQ’s show: Financial CPR with Jesse Lipscomb (AM1170, 7:00-8:00 pm; it looks like we will be there the whole hour). Jesse and I will be joined by another Tea Party organizer, Jeff Wangsgaard. We will be reporting on what happened during some of the nationwide protests slated for tomorrow, as well as review some Tea Party goals.

I hope everyone has been checking out the Southern California Tax Revolt Coalition website for updates. Several news stations have asked for specific information, so the media is very interested in what happens. To review, here is what the status is of various San Diego Country protests:

UPDATE! I will be providing updates from the AFN Team on-the-ground in various locations. Team members will follow-up by uploading pictures, videos, and fleshing out the details. These are the Tea Parties nearest and dearest to me, and I am thrilled at the turnout!

Colorado Springs, CO: Approximately 3000 protesters. The rally is peaceful, highlighting the call for sensible spending/lower taxes and general derision at the current political class. The most amusing moment: 7 high-school agers with “Obama + Pot” signs.

Lansing, Michigan: 5000 attendees are being officially reported. The famous all-American plumber, Joe, spoke and signed autographs before heading to the event in Atlanta. Our reports were that the crowd was lively, fun, and keen protest deficit spending.

Finally, a little item I like to refer to as ICE TEA (because revenge is a dish best served cold).

Hartford, CT: 5,000 people showed up at the state Capitol in Hartford, Conn. Many of them carried makeshift pitchforks and signs. You will recall, the Connecticut Working Families Party/ACORN tour of AIG executive’s homes had about 40 protesters Somehow, I don’t think the media is going to outnumber today’s protesters.

Other numbers in Connecticut: Tea Party organizer Pam Fowler states that 1500 came to the New Haven Rally, and 400 to the Norwich site. I am sensing Senator Dodd may be adding to the unemployment numbers soon!

We hope the Anchoress is praying for us; she has a pithy synthesis of what the legacy media is reporting on the Tea Parties. Michelle Malkin has an amazing roundup!

CALIFORNIA UPDATES! Here is the attendance for the rallies that have already been held in my state:

Other California cities:

Danville (small town): 100 attendees.
Riverside: 400 plus Tea Partiers.
Ventura: Approximately 400 protesters.
Orange County: 2000 Tea Party protesters.
San Bernadino: 2000 demonstrators.

And, last but not least, about 500 San Francisco demonstrators marched to Pelosi’s office.
