Dear Readers: I have been horribly limited as to what I could post these past two weeks. My computer was cursed, most wretchedly, and I needed to get a new one. Per my Tech Divinity’s request, I ordered a wonderful super-charged Dell, and he brought me back from the dead.
Here are some essential updates on the Tax Revolt week activities in San Diego:
The Southern California Tax Revolt Coalition (SoCal-TRC) is pleased to announce that we have organized a second series of local events. The first of the Tax Week Protests will be held 11:00 am to noon, Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Spanish Landing Park (West Basin on N. Harbor Dr. across the street from the airport). Goals of this Tea Party include extending the protests against the lack of fiscal responsibility shown at the federal and state levels and providing essential details on the tax-related propositions that will be on the May 19th California ballot. Pinatas of prime tax revolt targets will by a key part of this demonstration.
Plans are currently being made to add April 15th Tax Revolts at the three main San Diego Post Offices as the second part of the Tax Week activities.
The new webpage to keep up with these activities is: http://www.socaltaxrevoltcoalition.org. Check back here, or are our formal site, for updates and essential news!
