I wanted to engage in some free market activity today by advertising my friend’s artwork at Lipstick Underground. Below is an example of her work:

I would love to take Obama’s advice in one respect: I want to “spread the wealth” her way via sales of her sensible, elegant and very sophisticated designs. They can be found via CafePress.com, at the internal shop called “Paper Salad“.
The aspect to her designs that is very nice is they aren’t over-the-top, slap-you-in-the-face insults to those who may disagree with our political point of view. The logos are edgy but understated, and you could probably wear the shirts in the halls of MSNBC without raising an eyebrow! Or not — but it would be fun to try!
My friend points out that we Conservatives do not advertise our presence as much as liberals/leftists/socialists do. She is probably right, as we capitalism-craving entrepreneurs work toward our goals instead of agitate the public. However, this has the effect of making us seem less in number than we actually are. A little extra support would probably go a long way in promoting our Conservative ideals!
(MUT’s Note: My friend indicates that you can team-up with artists via CafePress.com to develop and market your own logo wear. If you are interested, let me know via my gmail — MutnodjmetLPE@gmail.com).
